My boyfriend and I š wings, but we donāt love how most restaurants fry their wings in canolaš š¼āāļø, vegetablešµāš«, soybeanš, or peanutš š¾āāļø oils!
Iāve found that these inflammatory seed oils are what make me feel the most āblehā after eating.š
šš»Bloated.
šš»Irritable.
šš»Heavy.
But I love eating wings, and especially trying the different flavors of dry rubs & sauces, sooo I decided to add some @butcherbox wings to my last order and make my own!āŗļø Let me tell you, these were a HUGE success - so juicy on the inside, crispy on the outside, flavor profile 10/10 - you have to give these a try!! (Oh, and no bloat, digestive difficulties, or puffy water weight after dinner either!!šš»)
1ļøā£PREP:
Rinse and pat dry your chicken wings. Then season with either s&p or any seasoning mix you think sounds delish! Preheat your air fryer to 360 degrees F.
2ļøā£COOK:
Once hot, place chicken wings inside air fryer ensuring none are stacked on top of each other (will ensure even cooking and crisping of each wing - you may have to cook in batches). Cook the wings for 20min. Then turn up the temp to 400 degrees F and cook another 5min.
3ļøā£SAUCE:
After the wings are done cooking, add to a medium sized bowl, and toss with @thenewprimal Mustard BBQ sauce (absolute heaven), a buffalo sauce combo (2 TSP garlic powder, 1/2 TSP black pepper, 1/2 TSP paprika, 1/2 TSP salt, 1/2c @thenewprimal hot buffalo sauce), or whatever your favorite sauce! Serve alongside @minimalistbaker vegan ranch (TO DIE FOR) and enjoy!š«
